The "Exciter" is a 1999 Boston Whaler  23' Conquest. It's powered by a Yamaha 250 HP Outboard engine and a Yamaha 9.9 HP four stroke high thrust auxiliary engine. This boat is fully Transport Canada inspected and approved for commercial use. The Boston Whalers are world renown for being totally unsinkable  making it one of the safest boats on the water, due to it's hull construction. The ride is  smooth in choppy water due to the deep vee hull and it’s top speed approaches 42 MPH.  The "Exciter" accommodates up to four guests comfortably in addition to the skipper. A vacu-flush onboard 'head' (real porcelain toilet - not a port-a-potti) is located in the fully enclosed cuddy cabin. Other notable features - hand held fresh water shower for washing hands, saltwater wash-down to clean the deck after your catch.

     Electronics on board are state of the art. They include a color depth sounder/chart plotter utilizing both GPS and differential GPS, radar unit, VHF marine radio w/ DSC, 7" LCD viewing screen w/ VCR for use with underwater camera system and a 'black box' for maximum fish attraction.

      The "Exciter" is equipped with four power downriggers of which three can be utilized at the same time. This means we have the capability of running up to five fishing rods similtaneously (depending on the fishery, water conditions, etc...) The underwater camera system, when used, is located at the back of the boat in addition to the two side mounted downriggers.

      Fishing gear is all top of the line. We carry enough tackle and bait to keep us out for days. The tackle is re-tied after every trip (we do not keep using tackle that has been stressed after a number of fish) meaning we have very, very few fish break-off. Everything is meticulously tied and kept in tip top condition.

      Also onboard are Transport Canada approved life jackets, rain gear, anti-nausea aids, bottled water and ginger ale.
